Karen Arieli joins Tradestreaming as new vice president of global business development
Today's an exciting day for the Tradestreaming team. We're growing! Karen Arieli is joining us as the vp of global business development. Karen's a multi-lingual Ivy League graduate, and a veteran VIP in the world of digital media and trade advertising. Karen played a big role in the success of our parent firm, Digiday. She was employee number 2 at Digiday and helped the media company ramp up its digital media events and publishing. We're expecting great things from Karen as we build out our sponsorships and partnerships for our first event, Money 2016. Karen’s areas of expertise are sales and business development, management, teamwork, and product launches with trade specialties in media, technology, and financial services. Karen’s resume boasts 20 years of worldwide deal-making experience with clients like Ford, Google, American Express, Dell, Merrill Lynch, Google, AOL, and The New York Times. Most recently, Karen served as the Director of Global Partnerships for the Mobile Marketing Association. Prior to Digiday, Karen was the Director of Membership & Sales for the Interactive Advertising Bureau, increasing corporate membership by 90 percent. In the late 90s, Karen served as the National Director of Advertising Sales for TheStreet.com. She was a part of the key team that took the company to IPO. Karen began her media career with publisher Ziff-Davis. Karen lives in Jerusalem and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in English Literature, Magna Cum Laude. Welcome, Karen!
