New speakers from Q2, Marqeta, and TransferWise announced for the Embedded Conference

Tearsheet’s Embedded Conference (November 17-19) is an incredibly innovative online event focused entirely on embedded finance. The Embedded Conference brings together financial institutions, technology players, and other firms from industries outside of finance adopting financial services.

Embedded Finance turns every app, software, retailer and business into a bank. And people are responding in kind — with the uptake of Embedded Finance, consumers are showing that they want to bank with the brands they love.

Tearsheet's Embedded Conference is supported by Publicis Sapient.

We've announced three new speakers for our event.

Q2's Jonathan Price

Q2's Jonathan Price, EVP, Emerging Businesses, Corporate & Business Development

First up is Jonathan Price, executive vice president of Q2's emerging businesses and corporate and business development. Q2 banking as a service efforts are meant to help firms like Acorns and Credit Karma offer banking services without being a bank by leveraging its CorePro cloud-based core processor to power onboarding, deposit processing, debit card, and payment solutions.

As part of the ecosystem it's built in core banking and embedded finance, Q2 connects fintechs with banks, and helps banks scale up to meet the demands of growing fintechs.

Marqeta's Justin Wee, Head of Digital Banking

Marqeta's Justin Wee

Marqeta powers modern payment solutions for companies innovating new services and
process flows in a digital world. As Head of Digital Banking, Justin is responsible for all aspects of business development with technology players currently established in or entering into the banking sector. This includes defining the go-to-market strategy, securing and managing relationships with customers and channel partners, ensuring operational readiness, and helping drive the product roadmap for a new generation of banking innovators.

TransferWise's Abid Mumtaz, Global Head of TransferWise for Banks

TransferWise's Abid Mumtaz

TransferWise has been working with banks like N26, Monzo, and Stanford Federal Credit Union to bring its digital experience and pricing to their customers.

Abid helps shape the product and partnership strategy for TransferWise's services to banks and financial institutions, using a unique API-driven solution.
