When I started writing about fintech and interviewing entrepreneurs on my podcast, my only goal was to learn everything I could and share it. There weren't too many fintech geeks back in 2009, but we were a tight and growing group of people across the finance industry.
I didn't know it then, but we were building a community. Our weekly newsletter became a way to share our industry’s collective successes and challenges with thousands of professionals. On my travels, I would bump into people all around the world who told me that the Tradestreaming newsletter was all they needed to stay on top of the future of finance.
The future of finance: Tradestreaming and Digiday
It's time to grow the Tradestreaming community. Today, I am excited to announce that
Tradestreaming has been acquired by Digiday Media. Ask anyone in the media industry about Digiday and you'll hear, “Oh yeah, it’s one of the best resources for professionals in the media industry.” But it’s so much more. As an editorial publication, Digiday defines the conversation for professionals in the media industry. As a media company, Digiday hosts some of the best events to bring these conversations into the real world.
Together with Digiday Media, we're planning the same for Tradestreaming. Our first global summit, Tradestreaming Money 2016, will take place November 14th in New York City. We've also totally redesigned the Tradestreaming website. I hope you'll join us and participate in the Tradestreaming community as we explore how technology and finance will continue to evolve in tandem.
I'm Zack Miller and I will be your copilot (and editor-in-chief) for this ride. Digiday Media CEO Nick Friese is taking over the Tradestreaming reins. Expect honest, insightful, and professional coverage of the financial industry from us as we beef up our reporting.
Subscribe to our newsletters,
listen to our podcasts and
join us in November for our global event, Tradestreaming Money 2016.
